ABOUT ME

If you'd like to learn from a successful teacher, songwriter and recording artist then you are in the right place!

I have been teaching guitar professionally from beginner to advanced for 21years and would love to have the opportunity to help you on your musical journey, whether it be playing at home, jamming with friends or aspiring to be a professional.

Getting the correct technique comes first, whilst learning key pieces of music at your particular standard. Improvisation, grades and theory are also covered if required.

Alongside teaching, I have been playing in many bands and projects. A highlight includes playing session guitar at a BBC Maida Vale Live Lounge for Radio 1 in 2008. 2009 saw me doing a charity gig in London with LAC featuring Dele Sosimi on keyboards.

As well as playing solo (including BBC Introducing) I have recently fronted a funk rock band called Lost Himalayas and have had a track played on BBC Introducing. Right now, my latest musical venture is called Towers Of Plain.

I specialise in Acoustic or Electric Guitar, but also teach Bass Guitar and Ukulele.

I teach customised, engaging lessons all ages (6 to 70s!) including both state and private schools and am therefore DBS checked.
