Reading Music vs TAB

So, which is best? Learning to read standard notation vs TAB.

TAB is potentially easier, quicker and can show you hand positions on the guitar to use.

Standard notation will usually take longer to learn, but it is rewarding and with some theory knowledge you can potentially learn the guitar neck in a more musical way.

The tricky thing about reading on guitar is that the same notes occur in different places, so finding the correct position is essential.

I can personally do both but I still find TAB easier overall.
